Hope is enthusiasm born from pending promises. Hope is what I recognized with each new tweet inquiring when my promised interview with XV would be published. Nothing happened after our initial declaration planted new optimism. The interview never happened. Silence replaced applause. The hush surrounding XV was broken every few months by random tweets asking the looming question that has followed him for years: What happened to XV?
